Mahdi Yahya
Mahdi Yahya is the Founder and Chairman of Peace of Art (PoA), an initiative born from his deep commitment to combating the segregation, enmity, and violence that his region faces daily. With a background in graphic design and humanitarian activism, Mahdi's mission is to use the power of art to foster peace, unity, and understanding.
He holds a Master's degree in Management of Social Institutions from the prestigious IU International University of Applied Sciences in Germany, as well as a Master's degree in Graphic Design and Advertising from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) in Lebanon. These academic achievements have equipped him with a unique skill set, blending creative expertise with a deep understanding of social impact and institutional management.
Mahdi's work has garnered international recognition, including an invitation to speak at the European Parliament on the International Day of Democracy, where he represented the Middle East. He has also shared his insights at various national and international forums, including the Adenauer-Stiftung Leadership Program and the UNDP Youth Leadership Program (YLP3). Recognized for his contributions, he was selected by Emirates TV AL AAN as one of the seven Young Changemakers in the Arab world.
Through PoA, Mahdi has led numerous initiatives, workshops, and projects aimed at peace-building, reconciliation, conflict resolution, and coexistence. Notably, he has delivered the “Arts and Culture in Peace-Building” workshop at the EMPOWER 2019 Forum in Qatar, which focused on the transformative power of art in bridging divides and fostering unity. Additionally, he spearheaded PoA’s “Art Against Discrimination” initiative, which stands as a testament to his commitment to promoting tolerance, acceptance, and social change through creative expression.

Vera Al Mawla
Vera is the President and Co-founder of Peace of Art. She is a musician and a trainer with experience working with children and youth from varying backgrounds and she comes from a multi-cultural and multi-religious family herself. She majored in software engineering. She has been the coordinator and project manager for several peace and arts projects within Peace of Art. She was invited to the United Nations Head Quarters in New York to represent Peace of Art, and was a speaker in Asilah Arab forum in Morocco. Vera is the alumna of the Youth Leadership Program (YLP6) with UNDP and the Intercultural Leaders Network with UNAOC.

Paige Webley
Paige Webley is the Executive Director for Peace of Art.
She is passionate about finding innovative, and timely solutions for peacebuilding and conflict transformation, especially with youth.
In 2009 she began working on fundraising and grant writing for different youth empowerment initiatives around the world.
Today she works and travels to the places and spaces where her skill set can be utilized with the main goal: create a world where our current and future generations can live without war and violence.

Ebrahim Yehya
Ebrahim Yehya is the program officer at Peace of Art in Lebanon, with expertise in art direction, film production, and human rights. He coordinates diverse youth projects, facilitates workshops, and has written reports and contributed to writing the National Report on FoRB, Lebanon. He managed projects like "Arts Elevate Societies", "We Play for Peace". He is a professional trainer in peace-building, conflict resolution, body language, storytelling and human rights.

Souheir Ghannam
Souheir Ghannam is the administrative assistant and communications officer at Peace of Art, with a major in psychology. Her experience lies in overseeing and supporting youth projects, and engaging with participants through effective communication. Souheir is also involved in implementing participatory action research under the Civic Horizons program.

Sabah Houwaiji
Sabah Houwayji is the HR & Procurement Officer at Peace of Art. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lebanese American University (LAU), achieved through a prestigious USAID full scholarship. Currently pursuing her Master's Degree at USEK, Sabah has demonstrated leadership as a scout leader and President of the Safety Awareness Club at LAU.

Abdelrahim Seddik is the Media Officer at Peace of Art, leveraging his expertise in graphic design, photography, videography, and content creation to produce compelling multimedia projects. he crafts visuals, edits dynamic videos, and creates engaging digital content tailored for various platforms. His work includes graphic design and branding, photography and videography, video editing and motion graphics, and social media content creation, ensuring effective storytelling that enhances the organization’s identity.
